Manga Lettering

Another task I undertook while interning at Vertical Inc. was lettering manga with the provided English translation. This involved arranging the English text so it would fit in the drawn word bubbles while also making sure the fonts used matched the characters and the emotion of what was being said. Presented here are samples of lettering work I did for Vertical as well as some I did in my free time for fun and practice.
